When a risk falls outside WebRater's standard appetite, there's still a path forward.
DUAL's WebRater platform gives brokers access to a range of insurance products. When a risk falls outside the standard underwriting appetite, a referral is automatically triggered — and you can submit it directly to our specialist underwriters for consideration.
How to submit a referral:

1. If a referral is triggered, a pop-upp box will appear notifying of the trigger.

2. Select 'OK' and proceed through the screens until you reach the 'Build a Quote' screen
- Under the 'Referral reason' drop-down box at the top of the 'Build a Quote' screen, add any additional information or supporting documents for the underwriter.
- Click 'Send' to submit your client's referral to DUAL for review.
- Your referral will be automatically sent to DUAL and allocated to a specialist underwriter for review.
- A DUAL underwriter will review the referral and be in touch with you.
Once reviewed, DUAL's underwriting team will contact you directly to discuss the outcome or request any further information needed to assess the risk.
