Can I reduce my commission to reduce premium?

Can you reduce your commission at the Build Quote stage?

Commission can be reduced at the Build Quote stage. If the premium has already reached its minimum, no further reduction is possible.

The commission available on the risk is shown in the Build Quote screen, as highlighted in the screenshot below.

How do I reduce my commission at the Build Quote stage?

  1. Open the risk and navigate to the Build Quote stage.
  2. Locate the commission field shown in the screenshot above.
  3. Enter your desired commission percentage in the commission field.
  4. Confirm or save the change to apply the updated commission to the quote.

Note: If the premium is already at its minimum, the commission cannot be reduced further regardless of the value entered.
